In today's digital age, many local businesses still aren't fully online. If they are, it's often just a basic webpage, which isn't good enough. But for small businesses, being online is as important as having a physical store. Search engines like Google prefer local businesses, so having an online shop is the best way to promote a store. Plus, it's a great way to make more money by offering services like online ordering or delivery.

Our challenge was : create a website that works well on all devices for a local business or professional.

Introduction:

Our stockholder currently doesn't have a good online platform to display and sell her carefully made designs to people around the world. Because she doesn't have an online store, she can't reach many customers outside her local area, which makes it hard for her brand to grow and become well-known.

Problem

Our aim is to show how teaming up with us will help her achieve her dream of having a successful online presence for her unique designs. We want to demonstrate how technology and creativity can work together smoothly, making it easy for her to display and sell her creations all over the world.

Goal

In order to gain deeper insights into the challenges and aspirations of our stakeholder, we conducted a comprehensive interview aimed at understanding her experiences and goals in the realm of e-commerce and design. The following excerpt encapsulates our dialogue with the Stakeholder, shedding light on her perspectives and requirements.

Her Goal

Ultimately, my goal is to operate a website shipping to customers worldwide, while also establishing an international fashion house and a dedicated factory for my designs

In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics surrounding our stakeholder's business, we conducted an in-depth competitive analysis. This analysis delved into key aspects of the market landscape, including feature analysis, brand analysis, and competitor mapping.

The following section provides insights gleaned from our thorough examination of the competitive landscape.

Affinity Diagram

Transitioning to the affinity diagram enables us to effectively organize and synthesize the feedback and insights obtained during the interview. This method involves grouping together similar concepts and recurring themes, streamlining the process of analysis and consolidation.

Based on the insights gathered from the interview, we've constructed an empathy map—a valuable tool for recognizing both the challenges and advantages encountered by our users. This map aids us in addressing the pain points and benefits identified during our interactions with users, allowing us to delve into their thoughts, emotions, pains, and gains.

Empathy Map

We leveraged the user persona to delve deeper into the characteristics of our typical users, offering rich insights into their preferences, aspirations, pain points, and specific requirements. This comprehensive understanding enables us to tailor our solutions more effectively to meet the diverse needs of our target audience.

User Persona

We've conducted a user journey analysis to map out Nora's interactions with our website, detailing the steps and experiences she undergoes throughout the process. This visualization delineates the different touchpoints, emotions, and actions that users like Nora encounter as they navigate through our platform, offering valuable insights into their overall experience.
