How can we train dental students to become competent and confident dentists? This is a crucial question for dental education, a field that prepares future dentists to provide quality oral health care. However, in Saudi Arabia, this field faces many challenges that affect its quality and effectiveness. One of these challenges is the lack of adequate training opportunities for dental students. In the past, medical universities offered special programs that provided students with hands-on experience and skills development. However, these programs were not accessible to all students who needed them, and they also had some limitations and drawbacks. For example, they were expensive, time-consuming, and sometimes unrealistic. Therefore, there is a need for alternative and innovative methods of training that can overcome these challenges and enhance dental education in Saudi Arabia.

The platform will also provide a communication system that will allow dental students and volunteer patients to interact and coordinate their appointments. Moreover, the project will ensure the privacy and confidentiality of both parties by using encryption and authentication methods.
